Red Bull has stated that they are “unaware” of any plans for Adrian Newey, their chief technical officer, to join a rival Formula 1 team despite reports of his potential departure after nearly two decades with RBR. Newey has been a key figure at Red Bull since 2006, leading the design team to multiple championships. There have been allegations of turmoil within the team, particularly concerning team principal Christian Horner’s behavior towards a female colleague.
While initial reports suggest Newey’s potential departure is linked to issues surrounding Horner, Red Bull spokesperson has confirmed that Newey is contracted at least until the end of 2025.
